Radio Canada International "wants all Canadians and permanent residents to explore their origins by entering the ROOTS Challenge. It's a brand-new short film and multimedia production competition. Open to amateurs and professionals alike - but you must be at least 18 years old to enter - RCI is looking for productions that run somewhere between 3 and 8 minutes and speaks of your roots and touches on part of your personal history or an aspect of your culture.", 5 February 2010.
